Sept. 14, 2018 (SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.) — Cal Poly ITS hosted the first annual Central Coast Regional CIO Forum at the California Cybersecurity Institute (CCI) located on-base at Camp San Luis Obispo.
Technology executives and visionaries attending the forum heard from Cal Poly’s own technical professionals on current collaboration initiatives.

The CCI is a robust, multi-agency effort to protect California from future cyber threats through training and research for government, academia, military, law enforcement, first responders and private entities. The CCI’s digital range differentiates its training program from others by creating immersive, scenario-based exercises on issues including next-generation cloud computing, anti-human trafficking, healthcare, critical infrastructure, and vehicular vulnerabilities.
