Supporting California Cybersecurity Institute (CCI) provides training for a new generation of cybersecurity experts in the latest tools and techniques that help to safeguard California’s data, computer systems, and critical infrastructure.
Your generous donation will support:
- Cleared for Success - a specialized workforce development initiative designed to increase student interest and exposure to cybersecurity careers in the cleared space.
- The Space Grand Challenge - a free virtual game-based cybersecurity competition for middle and high school students built by Cal Poly students. The SGC helps prepare the next generation of the cyber workforce by expanding the pipeline of talent earlier, promoting STEM, and developing cyber/IT skills.
- Student Project Initiatives - Day One Ready Fund gives students financial support to attend industry approved trainings or conferences, Earn by Doing supports students as they work and train at CCI, and Industry Focused Projects directly aid costs incurred for projects, including senior projects or master's theses projects.
CCI accomplishes their work through three pillars.
Train - reskill, upskill, and build tech literacy across the State of California and communities around the country.
Accelerate - unique opportunities to advance the Cal Poly Learn by Doing pedagogy for students and faculty.
Empower - early education opportunities to build a pipeline for future students interested in careers in technology.
